Meet Mia Mae
spotted tongue, perky ears and curly tail. She’s a one of a kind! Due to some recent health
issues, her family is no longer able to keep her and is hoping to find her a new forever home
with people that will spoil and love her.
Mia is a bit of a velcro dog and loves to be where her people are. She thinks you need her help
with everything that you do! In the kitchen making supper or need a taste tester? Mia will clean
up whatever you drop on the floor or gladly taste whatever it may be that you’re making! She
loves to lay on your feet and keep them warm or steal your blanket for herself to curl up on.
While she may be sweet and cuddly at times, she still has a lot of puppy in her and sometimes
her orneriness gets her in trouble. She is still working on some of her manners, like not jumping
on people when she meets them, stealing the remote or chewing on shoes. A home with small
children probably wouldn’t be the best for Mia, as she doesn’t know her size and may knock
them over. Mia is so smart and catches onto things quickly! She knows “touch”, “sit” and
“down”.
Mia is completely potty trained and doesn’t mind her kennel at all. She rings her bells at the
back door to tell you she wants to go outside, and when you tell her its “night night time”, she
will go straight to her kennel and lay down. She does fairly well on a leash and loves a game of
fetch in the backyard. Her favorite things are belly rubs, truck rides while hanging out the
window and playing in any kind of water…even her water bowl sometimes.
While she was an only dog, she would probably do well in a home with another doggie sibling to
romp around and play with! She likes to chase cats but will occasionally back off if they show
her who’s boss. Mia is up to date on all shots, spayed and current on flea/tick/heartworm
