Meet MIA

Mia is a beautiful and friendly Alaskan malamute, approximately 2.5 years old, who was rescued with several others from a backyard breeder.
Mia is OK with other dogs and with kids over 10 (due to her large size).
Mia has tested negative for heartworm, is spayed, and is current on vaccinations/flea/heartworm preventative. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet food upon adoption. Adoption fee $280.
Alaskan Malamutes are known for their strength, endurance, and affectionate nature. They are friendly, loyal, and often form strong bonds with their families. However, they are also independent and require regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy.
Please complete the pre-adoption questionnaire at https://form.jotform.us/70725107263148. We will contact you via email. Please check your spam/junk folders!

*Unless a future date is otherwise stated, animals are ready to be adopted once posted to Petfinder. Before you apply, please make sure you are at the point where you can welcome an animal into your home. Many homeless animals are awaiting space at our facility.*

The Clinton County Humane Society is a no-kill, nonprofit, volunteer-based organization. We do not receive county or government funding and depend on our adoption donations to fund the shelter.
