Meet Mia
Mia's smile will light up your world! This 43 pound little nugget is all about finding joy in this world where no one wanted her and she was a stray. Everything makes Mia happy....dogs, people, kids, snuggling on your lap or shoulder, running, playing, being a couch potato, and the list goes on!
Mia is 1 year old with gorgeous markings and is now ready to continue her life with a forever family. She came in as a stray from Oklahoma and is one of those perfect dogs that adjusts easily and will be there for you in aspects of life and would perfect for any family. Mia is discovering toys and LOVES her tough nyla type bones so much you may just roll over in bed and discover she has buried a couple under the blankets lol. Yep, foster mom did just that! Mia does require a fenced in yard.

We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.
