Meet Merida! Merida came to CCHS with her brother and two sisters towards the beginning of November from a local farm. This 14-week-old Heeler mix weighs 17.8lbs currently and has a stunning white coat with merle markings throughout. She is quite the ‘Brave’ girl and definitely has her wits about her! Merida has a very sweet demeanor and would love to play and snuggle her days away! With all puppies, especially high-energy breeds like Heelers, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Merida today!

The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
