Meet Merida

Meet our shy girl, Merida, a petite Feist mix weighing 18 pounds. She could stand to gain some weighs as she just weaned 8 puppies about a month ago. She has been a very sweet girl and very gentle. She gets along with other dogs, but seems to have a mild mild food aggression issue. She doesn’t want to share but will tolerate it. A home with kids past the toddler phase would be best for her just because she is so shy, and would adjust a lot quicker.

Merida’s adoption fee is $200

All of our animals are provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 - 4 PM, call us at 217-243-7297. We do applications in person or over the phone. You can also see pictures on our Facebook page, PAWS Jackson. With an approved application, a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to 1 week to allow you time to come to PAWS. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable.
