Meet Merida
Meet Merida. This petite gal had a rough start in MS (and was in fact left for dead) but a good Samaritan found her and took her in and contacted Brookline for help. Meri is approximately 7 months old, and while she's not done growing, she probably won't get too much bigger (although we just don't know). Currently she weighs 30 pounds. So she may be the perfect pocket lab for you.
She's doing great with housetraining and is just about reliable free roam as she is naturally drawn to the toys in the toy basket and isn't much interested in things that aren't hers. Good girl Meri.
Meri loves her walks and play time and it is a joy to watch her happily doing the zoomies in the back yard. She is only a bit hesitant with new people at first and even that is going away, and she is getting braver meeting new people. She LOVES all other dogs, but she is still learning that the resident dogs ears' aren't for chewing. They are much older than her and she'd do better with a play mate closer in age to her.
I think she's almost a perfect foster dog and she's ready to become the perfect addition to the right family looking for a new best friend.
