Memphis (Only pet in the house please! in Foster) Pit Bull Terrier Hood River, OR

Hi, I’m Memphis, but the shelter staff calls me Memmie for short! I arrived at Hood River Adopt a Dog in September of 2022 and I’m shocked I haven’t found my forever home yet! Don’t let my big jowls fool you, I am a soft, squishy boy. I’m approximately 2.5 years old and I weigh 70 lbs. I don’t let my size get in the way of trying to be a lap dog!



The staff says I’m a certified good boy because I know sit and down and I walk really, really well on leash! My love languages are physical touch and quality time; I would like to hang out with you and snuggle as much as you’ll let me; but I’m also happy to spend time by myself and I will wait patiently for you to come home. I love, love LOVE toys! Maybe a little too much. I’m learning drop it and trading toys and will need to continue to work on this in my new home.



Since I’m such a big, goofy boy, I would do best in a home with older children as I don’t always know my size and may knock over little ones with my enthusiasm.
