Meet MELVIN
Melvin is a petite terrier with Cattledog markings and ears. He is shy and on the quiet side, ready to learn and to be loved. Full grown, he will be approximately 25 pounds or so.
He is shy with humans, but eventually warms up as he gets to know adults and kids. He will thrive in a single pet, quiet household with a fixed and predictable routine. If you work from home, at home often, or not gone more than 4 hours at a time, this would be a home setting that Melvin would thrive in.
He should be the only pet in the house as he is very scared of other dogs and cats. Once he gets comfortable with the humans in the house, it is possible another smaller pet could be introduced slowly.
He does not love car rides as he gets anxious and car sickness, but he does enjoy going on walks with his people.
Melvin has a lot of potential and love to give. If you are interested and would like to give him a loving home, please do submit an application for him.
