Melody Shepherd Mix Cheektowaga, NY

Melody has been a sadly overlooked dog - for going on a year! She was surrendered to us along with several other dogs when her owner was incarcerated.

Sweet Melody is a lovely Shepherd mix with a sunny disposition. This sweet girl has been overlooked by most people who only want young dogs or a puppy. Who will be the one to save Melody? She is yearning for a family to call her own.

She's about 4yrs old, weighs approximately 63lbs, has good leash manners, is house & kennel trained. She is a sweet, intelligent, happy-go-lucky girl who loves to play fetch. Melody would love nothing more than her own people to explore and play with.

This beautiful girl is sweet, intelligent, athletic and great with people & kids and is dog friendly (as long as they are not dominant with her). She really enjoys her play time but will also settle down beautifully to snuggle and chill next to you.

Melody is a medium sized girl and at 4 years old, she is long past the puppy chewing stage :-)

Despite literally seeing hundreds of dogs come and go in her time with us, she is still happy and hopeful that her chance will come soon. This dog radiates joy.

She LOVES people! She's great with kids and is fine with dogs as long as they are not too dominant. This sweet girl deserves a break. Are you the person she has been waiting for?

She is being fostered in Fulshear TX but we can have her brought to NY on rescue transport (once adopted) which brings dogs up once a month.

Melody is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $350 and her transport fee is sponsored.
