Mazie is a driven, athletic, energetic female with a heart of gold. She is young. Estimate 18 months old. She can annoy older less tolerant dogs. She would prefer a home with a rambunctious chest bumping male. She plays nice with male and female, but my girls are very solitary and ignore her. She gets along well with kids (children who can hold their own) my 10yr daughter, 6 yr old nephew and friends have no issues playing with her. She would chase a cat that runs. So keep in mind of the prey drive. I have a cat here that doesn't run from dogs, so they interact and dog looses interest. I personally got her registered with AKC PAL (purebred alternative listing) so she can start participating in fun activities and earn titles. Her registration and medical papers (she is up to date on vaccines and spayed) will accompany her when adopted.

Blackdogsandcompanyrescue.org is the organization she must be adopted through. They have a $350 adoption fee, but any sane person knows that will not put a dent in her overall rescue costs that the organization accumulated during her journey. This is why donations and fundraising is so important.
Application and home inspection is part of the process. This organization is nice to work with. Located in Harford county Maryland.
