Meet Maya
Meet Maya!
Maya and her brother Chewie (who has recently been adopted) came to us as an owner surrender when their owner went into the hospital and could no longer care for them. Maya is a 9-month-old purebred yellow labrador retriever, weighing around 51 pounds. Maya is such a smart girl but still has lots to learn and is looking for a family that will dedicate the time and attention she needs to further her training and get her energy out. Maya can be very hyper and is working on her leash manners and jumping on people. She knows some basic commands and is eager to please. She is also working on house training and is catching on rather quickly. Although we feel that she would get along with children we recommend that any children in the home be older or used to high energy animals. She gets along with dogs and is curious about the cats. Maya is scheduled to get spayed on the 21st of May and will be available to take home after that. She is UTD on her vaccines and microchipped.
