Maxine Husky & Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Fairfax, VA

Did this distinct girl catch your eye? She's not only striking, but she's a good girl too! Meet Maxine. This pup and her sister Sheena were owner surrenders to the local shelter. One of our fosters saw them and picked them up and they got established with our rescue!

She has been vetted, and she are ready to find their fur-ever family!

Here is what we know about Maxine:
- We aren't exactly sure of her breed mix, but she appears to be a Catahoula/ Husky mix!
- Maxine is about 3 years old and full grown at 60lbs.
- She's great with the 5 year old in her foster home! She loves to snuggle with him at night! But she can play little rough, so we think a home with bigger/older kids would be best!
- She needs a yard that's fenced in, she loves to chase smaller animals!
- Maxine is good with dogs!
- We would like to see her go to a home without cats.
- She's overall a very good girl! She's good in her crate, and working on her crate and leash training. She loves being outside!

What we love about Maxine: Maxine wants to be a lap dog! She loves to snuggle! She doesn't bark often but when she does its more of a howl and if you look really close, you can see that she smiles most of the time :)

Their adoption fee is $375! That covers all their vetting and care up until the point of adoption.
