Meet Max

Max was found with Chica on a backroad in Bosque County. They were both absolutely skin and bones. One of our board members took these two in temporarily until we could make a space for them. Both were fixed and had chips when found, so we dove in to find more information. Sadly, Max’s chip led back to the Dallas Animal Shelter from 2018. His owner on the chip had passed away tragically. After digging as far as we could, we decided Max found us for a reason.
This adorable boy loves everyone he meets! He is a little shy at first, but warms right up. He prefers quiet dogs and will play once he gets used to them. He’s a sweet heart with the best ears in the business! This gorgeous boy deserves the best life possible. Plus…those ears!!!
