Meet Max
Max is a 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing around 60lbs. He’s a bit nervous and takes some time to trust new people but once he warms up he’s a total lovebug!
Max is very dog friendly, he loves to play with the rambunctious dogs but will also tone it down and is respectful enough to live with a small dog as well. He REALLY likes cats and will want to give them a sniff but is not overbearing. He crates well and is potty trained when kept on a consistent routine. He walks wonderfully on a leash and really enjoys long sniffy walks in quiet places.
Max is another dog who came to us from the KY hoarding situation after being saved by TLC Rescue. He’s ready for a nice, quiet place to decompress and being fostered or adopted by someone who can give him some extra 1on1 attention would be a huge game changer for him right now.
Max is fully vetted and ready for adoption, but you can always try our foster-to-adopt program if you want to make sure he’s the perfect fit for you.
