Max Australian Shepherd South Bend, IN

Max is about as close to perfect as a dog can be. He is great in the home, he has been good with every dog, even other more difficult foster dogs. He has an even going temperment and things seem to bounce right off of him.
Max is house trained and will stay in a crate but does not like it. He has been ok left in the house for a few hours but probably not a candidate to be left alone for full work days.
Max loves to play fetch as much as de-stuffing toys.
He enjoys rawhides when he gets them which is not that often. He doesn't really need them. He does not chew on stuff in the house but has picked up a stick in the yard and chewed that.
At night he sleeps in our dining room and has been fine.
He is actually good on a leash for walking but we do not have a lot of distractions outside of the rabbits and deer. He seems to be non-chalant about the horses and chickens.. and deer actually.
Great dog.
