Maverick is a young Great Dane with a heart as big as his size. At 12 months old, he’s already a bundle of love, looking for a forever home where he can share his affection.
Why Maverick Will Steal Your Heart
**Affectionate:** Maverick is incredibly sweet and loves nothing more than snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. He's a hug enthusiast, always eager to give and receive love.
**Adventure Companion:** He adores going for walks, exploring the world around him. Whether it's a quick stroll around the block or an adventure in the park, Maverick is your perfect companion.
**Foodie at Heart:** Maverick has a healthy appetite for kibble and his favorite treats, making feeding time a joyful moment for both him and his human friends.
**Nap Master:** After his adventures, Maverick enjoys long naps. However, he’s still learning some manners, so he would thrive with an owner who has the time and patience to guide him.
**House Trained:** Already potty trained, Maverick is well on his way to being a well-behaved housemate.
**Social Butterfly:** He gets along famously with other dogs, meaning he could fit right into a multi-pet household or enjoy meet-ups at the dog park.
Maverick’s Ideal Home:
Maverick is looking for a loving home where his new family can help him with some basic training to refine his manners. He’s eager to learn and would do well with someone who can offer consistent, positive reinforcement. His ideal home would be one where someone is often around to keep him company, given his social nature.
ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $450.00
In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.

GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative
Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
