Maverick Beagle Spring Hill, TN

Maverick is your stereotypical young beagle ...handsome, energetic, sweet & mischievous.

As a puppy mill pup, Maverick can be nervous of people at first, but he has been showing huge strides in trust. He will now jump on the couch or even sometimes look for a lap for snuggly movie time.

Maverick loves other dogs & spends most his day playing or cuddling with them.

Maverick loves to chew on bones and anything wood, but lucky for us he is easily redirected to a bone when caught.

When taken out often Maverick will have no accidents, but he is hesitant to go outside by himself and would rather pee inside if he has to go into the "scary" backyard by himself.

Maverick's biggest issue is he hates his crates, as a puppy mill puppy we bet that's all he experienced for his first months of life, so we limit time in the crate to meals, when we are gone....though he had destroyed a few crates.

Maverick does love sleeping in bed and can go all night without an accident.

For a young pup, Maverick has a big beagle bark and loves to use it when playing, to get his peoples or other pups attention and when scared of something scary in the house like a new box LOL.

Maverick has only met a cat at the vet, and while curious, he did not have a chase instinct, so we think he could adjust to a home with cats.

Maverick is neutered, microchipped and has received all his other vaccines.
