Say hello to charming, adorable Mason, the newest member of the FFC (Fuzzy Face Club)! Mason was found stray in Detroit, injured and frozen to the ground; then he headed to the shelter, for emergency eye removal and stray hold. When he was not reclaimed, we were happy to welcome him to BBW! He's a Shih Tzu/Pug mix, 1 ½ years old and 12#, with the sweetest, soulful eyes! He's getting so much love in his foster home, helping him to forget his sad past... and he's ready to find his loving furever family now.
Mason loves all humans big and small, and is great with respectful kids. He loves all the dogs he's met so far (he's pictured with his bestie, a 60# girl named Gracie), and plays well with everyone! (He gets along with cats also, but is maybe a little too curious... so he would be best to live with a canine friend(s)for sure!) He's smart, inquisitive, and sometimes a "door darter", so he requires a *secure* physical fenced yard where he can explore to his heart's content. Mason loves to sit near a window and watch the goings on outside, "Mason Cinema", LOL!
Mason is very much a cuddler... he loves to sit with his people to watch TV, and *totally* relaxes. He also loves to sleep in bed with a human, snuggling up very close and sleeping through the night. If you're working, he loves to be wherever you are, and will sit quietly by your feet or in your lap. He's a champion snuggle buddy!
Mason requires a visit to the groomer every 8 weeks or so to keep his coat and skin healthy, and he enjoys gentle brushing. He has a favorite Nylabone that he carries around the house and into the backyard with him, and he enjoys many other toys too. Mason is a loving, playful, endearing little guy who deserves the most amazing family to love him always!
