Mutt Love was asked to help with rescuing a number of hounds that ended up in a rural shelter when they were seized by animal control as part of a cruelty and neglect case. Mary was one of two hounds that Mutt Love rescued. Despite the deplorable conditions she came from, Mary remains a sweet and gentle girl. Mary is about 2 years old and weighs about 35 pounds. We would love a foster or adoptive home where Mary can put on a little weight and thrive, putting her neglectful life behind her.

**BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA**
