Marty (ID 40313/2326) Boxer Mix Manassas, VA

Meet Marty! There are so many amazing things to say about this sweet 7-year-old boy. The best thing about Marty is his happy demeanor and wonderful smile. He is a well-mannered boxer mix, that is house trained and knows his basic commands. He loves spending time with people outside and would have a couch to sleep on. Marty is a wonderful adult dog that still loves to walk, run and play with his people. He is well behaved, with his crazy puppy years behind him.

Marty has been spending time in a foster home and this is what his foster dad has to say about him:
"Marty is an extremely low-maintenance dog. He is extremely laid-back, with a completely mellow personality. He is a very happy dog who is just content to be around someone. He'll bark if he sees a dog outside, but other than that, not a peep. Unless he wants to go out. Then he'll howl a little bit to let you know he wants to go for a walk. He's very easy to walk as he rarely if ever pulls, and I actually pull him more than he pulls me, because he loves to stop and smell the roses or whatever other bush, plant or tree another dog might have used. The one thing about him is if he sees another dog, he might want to run after it, so you have to make sure you have a firm hold of his leash whenever walking him. If anyone is looking for a dog who does not need a lot to be happy, Marty is for them."
