Meet MARSHA
Marsha is a lot of dog with a lot of energy! Although she's not the biggest dog around, she's got a lot of spark in her and can be very opinionated. Because of her barking and how energetic she is, she would not be a good fit for an apartment & would do best in a house with a fenced-in yard. She's quite the jumper as well, and will not only jump up on people to greet them, but will test the limits of short fences as well. OTHER PETS: Marsha gets very excited when meeting other similar-sized dogs, often pulling forward to greet them and inviting them to play. She becomes very fixated and over-excited with animals that are smaller and would not be a good match for people with small dogs or cats. [Case-by-Case (Must Meet First)] NO SMALL DOGS OR CATS OWNER EXPERIENCE: Fefe would do best with someone who has experience with owning intense, high-energy dogs. [Experienced] KIDS: Marsha is uncomfortable with some types of handling, and is overall an intense dog who tends to jump and pull strongly on leash. She would would do better with adults who are able to handle both her energy and her strength and able to help her gain confidence. [Adults Only] ACTIVITY LEVEL: Marsha is a lot of dog with a lot of energy. In a home environment, she would do best with daily walks, and various forms of mental enrichment to keep her mind and body busy. [Olympic Athlete] VETERINARY CARE: [Routine] LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Marsha is still at the beginning of her training journey, and will do best learning with someone who can offer both patience and confidence while she adjusts. Positive reinforcement training will help Marsha not only learn her basic cues & skills, but also help her to bond with her new owner. [Intense] GROOMING: [Minimal]
