Marley Boxer Mix Stanwood, WA

Please say hello to Marley! He is a 8.5 month-old Boxer mix with a full tail who is neutered and current on his vaccines, and is being fostered in Yelm, WA. He is a big fella at about 45 pounds and has more room to grow. He's going to be a big boy!

Marley is a happy, friendly, and playful puppy that is good with dogs, cats, and kids as young as one year old. He is still learning how to behave properly with other dogs though, but he accepts corrections from other dogs well. He knows the commands "sit" and "down", is working on "paw", and picks things up quick as he is very smart, and food motivated.

Typical of puppies, Marley gets nippy and mouthy while playing, but he quickly accepts a 'No' correction. He sometimes needs a little direction on what is appropriate to chew on and what is not, but is quick to drop things or leave them be when verbally corrected. He is still learning his manners as he jumps up on people, tables, and counters, but he has already picked up on the "off" command.

Marley has some good house training under his belt and has had minimal accidents in his foster home and goes outside to potty with no issues. He is mostly crate trained; he goes into his crate with no issue when motivated with treats or food, and sleeps in his crate at night and has had no accidents while in there.

Marley will be a great family dog who is affectionate, cuddly, and friendly. He has a lot of energy and would be a great adventure buddy. He would do great with another dog in the home to play with and to continue learning proper dog social etiquette from.
