Marley Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Portland, OR

Marley has a heart of gold and is a 25 pound king charles cavalier spaniel. Occasionally we take other breeds at the rescue and couldn't say no to helping this sweet face!

Marley is 4-6 years old and is neutered. He will beed basic vaccines, bloodwork and a dental cleaning, but we are accepting foster-to-adopt homes. His eyes do weep, but we don't think it's due to any eye conditions but will also have our vet verify this. This boy loves all dogs but does get excited, so would be best around easy going dogs that don't mind his excitable energy. He will avoid a dog if he thinks they don't like him and is very respectful. He is also cat friendly.

He is potty trained when let out on a regular basis and sleeps in a crate at night. Marley is very food motivated and his weight should be monitored as he is just on the cusp on being a tiny bit chubby. He enjoys running in the yard and could benefit from regular walks.

Marley's Ideal Home:

*Fenced yard so he can run and play
*Friendly, non-cranky canine companion(s)
*Human's who can pay him lots of attention (Kids 8+ ok, possibly younger if dog savvy)
*A home who will provide him with annual eye and heart checks as he ages since the breed has a long life span.
