Marley Retriever Mix Mooresville, NC

Marley, 3 years old, spayed female, Retriever mix, 60 lbs. She is in a foster home in Texas and can transport to an approved adopter.

Marley and her 10 puppies were found abandoned in a person's yard during a snowstorm in Texas (yes, you read that right- snow!) The finder was not able to keep them or willing to bring them inside. A kind person stepped up and took the whole family home. All of the puppies have been adopted and now it's Marley's turn!

Marley is super laid back, she will have spurts of energy when playing with other dogs or running back to the house during a walk.

She loves other dogs and their companionship. When she is on leash she does not pull even when seeing other dogs. If they walk past she will sniff or follow your direction on leash. She shares a home with several other dogs.

She is cat friendly and avoidant for the most part. She has been around teenage children and does great. She is a little standoffish with males until she gets to know them.

Marley is house broken. She does not like to be in a crate or small spaces. She can be left in the house unsupervised.

She currently has a lot of space to wander around and would love to have a yard and another dog to keep her company. She loves walks and exploring but really prefers to be a big teddy bear inside. She loves belly rubs and rolling in the grass. She loves to cuddle and sleep in the bed!
