Meet Mark

Mark is a Staffie with the bark of a tough guy and the heart of a gentleman. Neutered and ready to go home today, Mark is currently working on perfecting his boisterous, "I'm a tough guy" persona while in his kennel. When it's time for walks, though, this so-called bad boy flips the script-leashed up and out the door, he transforms into a docile, polite pup who doesn't pull and will walk past the other kennels ignoring the doggie drama of his shelter friends.

He is treat motivated which makes training a breeze! Mark knows "sit" and "stay" like a pro, but he's too cool to do silly things like catch treats. He will put on a good show pretending to try, (just for your entertainment, of course!)

His bark may sound like he eats Amazon drivers for lunch, but don't be fooled: Underneath the tough exterior is a soft, cuddly side waiting for the right person to see through the act. If you're looking for a loyal, low-maintenance sidekick who can't catch treats (https://youtube.com/shorts/TAE8PYN9Xxk?feature=share) but can definitely catch your heart, Mark is your guy.

As one volunteer said, "Mark doesn't show well in his kennel," so he truly shines when he's outside, where his calm nature and friendly personality can be fully appreciated. Mark is ready to meet his forever family and be the great companion he's meant to be!
