Meet Marion
Marion is about one year old, weighs 66 pounds, and has tested negative for heartworms. He came into the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter as a stray with badly infected ears but they have been treated and are better so he is now available for adoption through EMAR. Marion is kennel-trained, walks well on a leash, loves the outdoors, and he's already been started on heartworm and flea prevention! Knowledge of the breed would be helpful, as he will require ongoing grooming and exercise. We think he would be fine in a home with older children but get the feeling he might be a cat chaser.
