Mario German Shepherd Dog & Australian Shepherd Mix Rochester, NY

MARIO is a 4.5 month old German Shepherd Australian Shepherd mixes. He was raised in a family with young kids and are reported to be GREAT with kids, cats, and other dogs, and the family was heartbroken to have to surrender him but just bit off more than they could chew with a large family of human children, as well. And they want him to get all of the attention and love they deserve. He's fully vetted to age and their neutering and microchipping is included in their adoption fee, at our clinic after they turn 6 months. He’s a beautiful, super nice dog, and will make great additions to a very lucky family. His foster thinks he would do better with another dog in the home to play with and expend energy with, but we'll consider homes without.

He was around 30 lbs this past weekend.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
