And now a few words from me:
Wow Canada is sooooo different, with great smells and nice people - no ticks or fleas so far, and lots of friendly people. Â I think I like it here - but I'm going to have to get used to all sorts of new experiences. Wow - they let you inside, but they expect you to do your business outside - OOOPS! But I'm smart - I am gonna learn EVERYTHING really quickly. Can't wait for my new family. I hope you like to play! Whoo hoo!
And now a few words from my foster mom:
Marina was a bit overwhelmed at first - but is settling in quickly. She is smart, affectionate and cuddly, playful, energetic and generally sweet tempered. She looks like she is going to be great at things like agility, and will love to exercise and play. Â Right now she is all pup - chewy and inquisitive. She needs a calm and quiet exposure to new things, but seems to adjust quickly to everything once she knows her people are keeping her safe and secure. She is starting on basic commands and house training, and wants to learn. She seems to want to be with people, and so far has not had to deal with being alone. She is getting used to a crate as a good place to be. She will do best in a calm but active family, willing to continue with obedience training, and keep her active. She is a lovely girl.. and is going to be a wonderful companion to some lucky family. Could that be you? Â July Update Marina is funny, cheerful, playful and very affectionate. She is house trained, sits, comes, and does well on the leash. She plays with the other dogs very nicely, loves older kids who are used to bouncy dogs (she should have been called 'tigger'), and loves the cats too - however her brand of loving is for the more energetic younger cats! She likes to be with her people, but manages very well when left alone. She is very responsive to people, but still needs help meeting new people and going into new situations. Once there she is fine. Marina will make a lovely companion, and she is beautiful to boot!
