Marilyn Border Collie Mix Thompson's Station, TN

Marilyn is a border collie or border collie mix pup that was born around mid July. She is currently on the smaller side and will probably weigh around 30 pounds when grown much like her momma who weighs 35 pounds. She came to us with her 3 siblings from a hoarding situation and has some hair loss on her tail and a back foot but the hair is expected to grow back. Marilyn has a huge personality and will need a family to match that! She will do best with a family that is energetic and active and will give her plenty of exercise as well as mental stimulation and training. Due to the nature of the border collie breed, she is mouthy and can be expected to herd and nip as she grows and thus would not be a good fit for very young children.

Marilyn is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. She will be adopted with a spay agreement and the reimbursement plan will be discussed with our adoption coordinator. Her adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
