MARGOÂ NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
If you are viewing Margo 's bio on petfinder, please click below for more information!
Name: Margo    Breed: Feist
Approximate Age: 1 yearÂ
Approximate Weight: 16 pounds
Currently Living at: Shelter, but coming to the DC area 3/23 and in need of a foster home while looking for a FOREVER home!!!
Look at sweet little Margo! This precious 1 year old Feist mix somehow ended up in a high kill shelter in South Carolina where her days were numbered. Lucky Dog knew she had a long life to live ahead of her so we are scooping her up and bringing her to DC to meet the forever family that will treasure her! Margo is sure to return the favor with endless cuddles, unconditional love and a wiggly welcome home every time you walk in the door.
Margo likes children and is a good fit for families with kids of any age who know how to treat a dog with care. She has a beautiful, soft black coat with an adorable white patch on her chest. Even though she is one year old she looks like a puppy - and is just as sweet and loving!  Margo gets along well with other dogs and cats, too, so she would be a good fit for a home looking for a second pet. She would be happy as an only dog, too, as long as she has plenty of toys to play with while you are away at work.Â
Since she is little at just 16 pounds - and not getting much bigger - she will be fine in a city condo where she gets plenty of walks and dog park visits. But if you have a large house and yard she will be more than happy to make it her own!
Like most shelter dogs, Margo may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
The adoption fee for this dog is $300, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Kyle at KyleH@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
