Marcel Chihuahua Rochester, MN

Marcel was rescued along with Simone after his owner's passing. Marcel is a reserved dog who is fine laying in a dog bed or on the couch. He was trained to go potty on potty pads, but he prefers to go outside. He coexists with both large and small dogs. Marcel is notably quiet and seldom barks. His weight is 9.8 lbs.

Marcel and Simone were previously a breeding pair. Marcel has recently been neutered. He took about a week to warm up to me, but now he eagerly greets me when I return home, playfully tapping the back of my ankle until I acknowledge him. I feel I am just starting to see his true personality. He is a great boy. He is playful with the other dogs.

While I wouldn't describe Marcel and Simone as inseparable, they do occasionally lie together, and Simone seems happy to see him each morning. Marcel prefers to sleep in the living room, whereas Simone enjoys sleeping in my bed. I would love to see them go together and we will take priority to applications for both of them together.

Adoption fee is $300 plus tax.
He does qualify for the senior for senior program.
