Meet Maple

Maple is an approximately 10 month old Akita (mix?). Maple is a very sweet girl that can be shy and reserved with new people. She needs an owner committed to providing her with positive reinforcement and experiences moving forward. She is petrified of cats, and stays out of their way, so we are thinking she would be fine in a home with kitties. She has done well on pack walks with other dogs but doesn't always love them in the household when they attempt to play, etc. so she may do best without dogs or with another relaxed and confident, dog friendly dog. She seems to be house trained, crate trained, and rides well in the car. We think small children would be too much for her. Her adoption fee is FREE! and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and negative heartworm test.
