Maple Spitz & Pomeranian Mix Valparaiso, IN

Maple is a 10 month old spitz possibly Pomeranian mix and she weighs about 12 pounds. When she first arrived, it was obvious she didn't interact with people too often. She was clumsy, didn't know how to come up and down the steps and was very timid.

She has come she such a long way in a short period of time. She has mastered the steps and she loves playing with her stuffed toys, but her goal is to remove the squeaker and be careful because the tv remote is her favorite flavor! She sleeps in a crate (because she is still a puppy and we don't want her eating anything she shouldn't). She has been very good in the crate and has not had any accidents. She will bark when she needs to come out to go potty. She is not 100% housebroken, but if you see her sniffing around, say "let's go outside", she takes off running for the door. She is living with two small fur babies and they are doing well together. It took her a few days to get used to them, but now they cohabitate just fine and she loves to play.
