Maple Mixed Breed Cedar Rapids, IA

Meet Maple, a very sweet mixed breed pup about 5-6 months old we are guessing. She does have double dewclaws on her back feet so perhaps some Great Pyrenees in that mix?!

Maple and her litter mates had a rough start to life, and when she arrived from Oklahoma, she had very few life experiences. However, she’s quickly warmed up to people, and now jumps on her lap when she wants to cuddle. As she is socialized with people, she gains more and more confidence. She’s conquered learning to live in a home, entering through doors, learning to take steps, learning to ride in the car, walking on a leash and seems to be mostly potty trained.

She has a delightful spirit and wants to please. She loves to run outside and do a belly crawl on the frosty grass. She does, however, like to be near her people. She has a beautiful face and will be an amazing dog as a companion or for a family.

Maple has lived with other dogs, but can be a bit bossy at times. She has been exposed to a few children and does well with them if they approach slowly so that she can get to know them. Untested with cats.
