Maple Beagle Wadsworth, IL

Job history: Six years as a field trial beagle.

Reason for leaving: Just didn't feel like a good fit. All that running in the cold, wet and heat and the barking noise from the rest of the pack was just not my thing.

Position desired: My preferred position is stretched out on a couch or a nice soft bed.

Salary desired: A full food bowl along with occasional treats in a home that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Ear scratches, belly rubs and snuggles are a must. I would love having another dog and a fenced yard would be great.

Availability: I have a clean bill of health and am ready to take on a new position immediately.

Recommendation: Maple is a very quiet girl who gets along very well with the other three dogs in the house. She has not pottied in the house even once. She is a world class snuggler and has really taken to being a house pet like a pro. She is honestly one of the best fosters I have had with only a couple of glitches. She has no concept of personal space and keeps pushing for more space on the bed (and pillow). Maple also takes things. She will take my house slippers, a toy, a towel, anything at all and put them on her dog bed so she can sleep next to them.

Her coloring is very unique as she has red and blue ticking all over her body with the exception of a couple of brown spots on her face and body.

Conclusion: Maple will be an asset to any family and they would be extremely fortunate to have her.
