Meet Maple
Maple is a super sweet beagle mix who is new to our rescue. She is a wonderful dog! Her owner was moving and not able to bring Maple with her. Maple was loved and treated well in her previous home.
Maple is only 5 years old and weighs 40 pounds. She is very friendly with people, dogs and cats. She was friendly with a guinea pig in her previous home.
Maple is house trained and knows basic commands. She loves to go for walks, but like all beagles she is not safe off-leash as she will always choose to follow her nose!
Maple is in good health, but she does have epilepsy. She must take daily medications in order to keep her seizures under control. At this time, she only has very short seizures (lasting one or two minutes) every few months.
She takes Phenobarbital twice a day and potassium bromide once a day. The cost is about $30/month.
Maple would not be happy being left alone for long hours everyday. She is a dear, affectionate dog who will make a wonderful companion. Please consider this very deserving dog - you won’t be sorry.
Maple is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
If you feel you can give Maple a safe and loving home, please see the adoption information and application on our website (www.adoptadogsavealife.com).
Our adoption process includes an application, a telephone interview, a home visit and a meeting with the dog.
An adoption fee of $350.00 applies.
Maple is in a foster home in Toronto.
