Meet Mango

Mango is a spayed female 28lb sable & white Sheltie. Our vet estimates she is around 5 years old. She came from a very terrible puppy mill situation and has made a lot of progress in her foster home toward becoming more socialized. She loves to go for short walks around the neighborhood but prefers a fenced yard for her adoptive home. Mango is up to date on all of her vet care with no known health issues. She is crate trained and house trained. She prefers to spend a lot of time in her crate as it is her 'safe space' and we recommend this set up for her in her adoptive home. She is still very shy/anxious and will need a lot of TLC to overcome the situation she came from. Mango LOVES other dogs, and we don't anticipate her having any issues with cats. She has not lived in a home with children, and may be overwhelmed by children under 8.
