Mama Bear Terrier Fairfax, VA

Hi there, Bully breed lovers! Please meet Mama Bear. This loveable full-blooded pittie was found abandoned in a remote area with a young dog that is believed to be one of her offspring. We will never understand why dogs are left on their own to fend for themselves! Thankfully, both dogs were taken into our rescue and have been receiving lots of TLC in their kind foster home. Mama Bear was positive for heart worm at intake, but has been successfully treated and is getting ready to go to her forever home.

Mama Bear is about 3 years old and weighs in at 57 pounds. She is a super sweet and very personable girl. The vet thinks she likely came from a breeder who bred her often and found her no longer useful (so sad!); but that doesn’t stop this darling girl from loving her humans! She is okay around other dogs, but we believe she would be happier as the only pet....can anyone blame her?? She has not been exposed to cats so a feline-free home would be best.

Mama Bear is house trained and walks well on leash. She’s a people-loving girl who wants to please her humans. She has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date with her vaccination. All she needs is a loving home where she will never be abandoned again.
