Meet Maia

Maia on the date of this posting (5-30-24), has spent 134 days in the shelter. Although that sounds like a long time, Maia has absolutely flourished since coming in. Upon intake, she was 28 pounds- she was so emaciated it was horrendous. She looked like a skeleton when she came into the shelter, and had the saddest eyes you have ever seen. Even when she was not feeling the best due to her poor body condition, she just wanted the comfort of people and to lay her head in your lap. She's still the same gentle girl, just double the weight now! She loves to sunbathe and her ideal home would include people that love her, a fenced in yard, and no other animals in the home.
