Meet Maggie May

Maggie May is a very sweet Retriever/Shepherd (?) mix with an approximate DOB of 12/2023. She came to us after her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. She is very smart, eager to please, and very affectionate. She loves all people, kids, and dogs. We think that kids should be 5+, though. We think that she would be fine with cats. She is pretty much potty trained. She's still working on kennel training as she loves her people so much that she always wants to be with them. She currently weighs 47lbs, but she still has some growing to do. She has a lot of energy and requires another dog in the home.

Maggie has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and we think it's genetic. We are currently looking at treatment options, but she will potentially need surgery sometime throughout her lifetime.
