About

House-trained

Health
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Maggie has cerebellar abiotrophy, a genetic neurological disease affecting balance and coordination. While Maggie is a bit wobbly on her feet, she doesn't seem to notice! She is a happy and enthusiastic pup who loves life! Because of her instability, she would do best without a lot of stairs and a level yard. While cerebellar abiotrophy is progressive, there is a wide range in the terms of the progression of the disease. Since Maggie is 4 years old already and has only comparatively mild neurological signs, this indicates Maggie's disease will hopefully continue to only slowly progress. A neurology recheck is recommended every six months to monitor.

She is a happy and enthusiastic pup who loves life! Because of her instability, she would do best without a lot of stairs and a level yard.

Mags is treat motivated, potty trained, and does anything her foster mom asks. She is such a well behaved lady and has recently discovered the joy of playing with toys! She gets so excited when she gets a new toy, and her snuggle sessions with her teddy bear are precious. Maggie loves accompanying her foster to work and spends her days going around the office saying hi to everyone. Car rides are also a favorite!

This lovely girl adores going on walks and is a pleasure on leash. Although she can't walk long distances, she loves her strolls and taking time to smell the roses.

Maggie is good with other dogs, but can become insecure if she stumbles or falls so it's important to give her space and understanding. A gentle canine companion would be a great fit for her, or she would also be happy as a solo pup. Maggie did well meeting a kitty, so could be able to go to a home with cats with proper introductions.
