Maggie Pit Bull Terrier Mix Rochester, NY

Miss MAGGIE is a super sweet young pitty mix whose owner is moving and can't take her with him to his new place. She's 2 years old, fully vetted, and loves everyone (people including kids, dogs, cats) and most everyone loves her (except a few dogs or cats who are not as big of playing as she is). She loves giving kisses and is best friends with her current cat roommate. She was accustomed to playing with the cat in her previous home, so while she sometimes just ignores cats like in the video here, sometimes she does want to play. She has lots of energy and would be a great walking or running buddy. Maggie is the real deal and will make someone a perfect addition to their family!

Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months alter and chip will occur by ~7 months covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. Adoption also includes lifetime support of the rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely volunteer foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada for puppies who haven’t yet gotten their rabies shot - sorry! They need rabies vaccination to cross the border.)
