Intake date 19 August 2023 . 1ish year old 29lb, smooth coated, spayed female. . Who needs a great sports partner?!? Maeve could be just who you are looking for! . This young girl is a high drive, work focused pup who is toy and food driven, and is looking for a partner. Maeve is super receptive to positive training, and is thriving with brain bending -- she knows sit, down, and paw, and is learning wait, and loves to climb on anything presented as a challenge. . Maeve will do best in a very active home where training is part of the daily activities. She is excellent with other dogs, and older children ( over 10 years old ). She has no history with cats. Maeve is crate trained, rides nicely in a vehicle (crated), and walks reasonably on leash. Anyone interested in Maeve should be interested in daily exercise and brain challenges. . This dog was part of a hoarding case, and while all of the dogs involved have great temperaments and are adjusting well to living in a home, folks interested in adopting should understand that they will need support and encouragement on their road to learning to 'dog' normally. Attending classes and working to build partnership will be an important part of the plan to adding a new pup to your home. . This dog is located in Maryland - we do not ship or transport dogs.
