Meet Madison

Madison is a sweet Schnauzer/Husky mix who is approximately 2 years old and weighs 37 pounds. She came to us from a shelter near the border of Mexico with her 4 babies that were all adopted out. Now is her chance to find her forever home!

Madison (Maddy) is a sweet and gentle girl. She has a brief warm up period of a day or so until she know she can trust you, then she is social and friendly. She loves her treats and that is the way to get her to trust you more.

She has the cutest mohawk!

She plays well with the other dogs in her social group as you can see in the video.

Madison is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Augustine, FL on December 21st. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.

If you would like to add this mohawked cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt

*The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance*

Madison tested positive for Chagas disease and has started her treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
