SATURDAY, JAN. 18 from 12-3PM: Come see us at our PUPPIES & KITTENS ADOPTION EVENT at BASS PRO SHOP at THE LEGENDS located at 10300 Cabela Drive, KC Kansas 66111. We’ll have many pets available for adoption.

MACI is the life of the party! She's a 4 year old Pit Bull mix who weighs 70 lbs and looks like a couch potato, but this girl also loves to have fun! Maci is very friendly and silly and personality plus! She's playful and enthusiastic and so sweet. She loves her treats. Maci loves playing in the yard and exploring, but she did live in an apartment previously so should also do fine in an apartment as long as she gets lots of walks and plenty of attention. She is good with other dogs. She'll be a fun and sweet companion!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
