Animal Profile: Mac is a handsome, 2-year-old 39lb hound mix that is friendly, playful, and affectionate.

Foster Update:

Mac is a typical hound mix who loves to snuggle and will do his best to crawl in your lap whenever possible. He has an adorable leg shake when you scratch his ears! He can be a little vocal and in usual hound fashion will let you know when he wants attention, so will do best in a single family home preferably with a fenced yard. He loves to play fetch and can absolutely fetch and return the ball. He is young and a bit of a chewer so is still learning what the appropriate chew toys are, but is incredibly happy when given a tough toy or bone to chew. Mac would love a hound loving family, possibly with another dog to play with, who wants to give him plenty of snuggles and attention.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

This dog is arriving from Caddo Parish Animal Shelter in Shreveport Louisiana via Tail Lights Rescue Project. He will be available for adoption in the Seattle area.
