Meet Lyra!

Lyra is a 4-year-old Husky who embodies all the playful, spirited traits of her breed. She arrived at our shelter over a year ago after spending an unknown amount of time in the woods, where she had to be trapped. She was shy, emaciated, and scared. She has now blossomed into the beautiful confident girl we've all come to love. Known for her funny “Dragon face” during playgroup, she might look fierce in the heat of play, but don’t be fooled—Lyra is a complete sweetheart and a total mush ball. This beautiful girl loves to run and play, and she acts, walks, and talks just like a true Husky. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those her size or bigger, making her a fantastic playmate. Lyra is spayed, vaccinated, and on monthly prevention. She’s looking for a loving home with a spacious, fenced-in yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy her Husky antics.
