Meet Luy! This boy has had a rough time. He originally was in our care in 2017 when he came to our rescue as a newborn puppy with his mom and 3 other siblings. He was adopted as a 3 month old puppy and we thought everything was going well. We were contacted in July from the family who reported having issues with him for the past 4 years with multiple biting incidents and requested to return him. We could not say no, as we stand behind all our animals.
Luy is a nervous boy who seems to have some fear aggression and fearful behavior in certain situations. He can also be very sweet, but he really needs an adopter who has experience with dealing with fear aggression and dogs with behavior challenges. Prefer a quiet, all adult home. He does get along with other smaller dog, but we would recommend no large dogs and no cats. Luy deserves a chance at a happily ever after with someone who understands what he needs to thrive- patience and understanding and he needs to be allowed to build his trust at his pace in a safe environment.
Luy is crate trained and does well with housetraining.
