**LUNA IS CURRENTLY 37 LBS AND ~2 YRS OLD
Hi Folks! I've a few things to tell you about myself. There I was taking a stroll around the streets of Youngstown all by my lonesome when I was scooped up by the local dog pound. Once at the pound, I found myself being showered with tons of hugs and was able to give lots of licks to the great folks there!! They all enjoyed "squishing" my face and I gotta admit, I loved it as well!! I overheard all of them saying that it was a good thing I was able to break free because I had open wounds on my neck from an imbedded collar. I guess whoever my "owner" was, never bothered to check my collar size during my growth spurts. My life got even better when I was busted outta the pound by this awesome rescue where I was taken to a really cool foster home!! I am currently bunking with 2 other dogs and we have tons of fun playing together. Foster mom is happy with my potty habits but remember that a new home will entail new schedules so patience will be key in continuing my training. As seen in my video, I am quite adept at giving "high fives" and will use that newly learned talent to my advantage when I am being reprimanded for any slight indiscretions that I may induce!! I have learned that high fives make you humans giggle!! have also learned to sit on command. It will take me some time to trust/warm up as it would appear that I may have been treated with a "heavy hand" and as a result I sometimes cower from humans. BUT, once I know you mean no harm, I am allllll about cuddling and high fiving!! The ideal home for me would be one that supplies me with all the exercise a young gal like me needs and then a soft lap to cuddle on! Let me stress....I LOVE TO CUDDLE!!! No one knows what my exact lineage is, but we came up with my breed mixes due to my "squishy face" and short stature. I have been getting used to car rides, but continued practice will certainly reassure me that they are safe. I walk like a perfect lady on a leash and LOVE my daily walks provided by my foster dad. I would do great in a home with another dog(s) or as an only "child". Respectful children over the age of 8 would also suite me well. I am crate trained but foster dad says I do fine when left alone uncrated too. Overall, I am a young, playful, loving, sweet, energetic girl who is ready for a committed family who will allow me time to acclimate. I guarantee to bring lots of "sparkle" and love into your home.
