Meet Luna Rose
**Meet Luna Rose: A Survivor Ready for New Beginnings**
Luna Rose, a sweet Samoyed with a heart full of hope, was rescued from a high-kill shelter where her future was uncertain. Found roaming the streets of Kern County with her suspected brother, Luna Rose has faced challenges no dog should endure. Her journey to safety began when animal control picked up the siblings and brought them to a crowded kill shelter. Recognizing their plight, we brought both Luna and her brother into foster care, determined to give them the second chance they deserve.
When Luna Rose arrived at her foster home, it was clear she was not used to indoor living. However, her joy was undeniable as she explored her new environment, expressing her happiness with delighted "roos" directed at her foster mom. It's heart-wrenching to think about the neglect she suffered in her past, especially when we discovered that her leg had broken at some point and was left untreated, causing it to heal improperly. Despite this, Luna Rose is remarkably resilient. She can walk and even put weight on her leg, never allowing it to slow her down. Many adopters have overlooked Luna Rose because of her leg, which is sad. It isn't her fault and she deserves a chance at a forever home.
Luna Rose will come directly to you for attention. She sits in front of her foster mom and guests and "paws" them gently with her previously broken leg, until she gets affection. It is really sweet. She looks into your eyes longingly as you love on her. It will melt your heart.
Luna Rose is good with small dogs, but gets a little grumpy with larger female dogs. While she can coexist with most other canine companions (especially males), she would thrive best in a home without cats. Her gentle nature and beautiful presence make her an ideal addition to a family looking for a loving and loyal companion.
This beautiful Samoyed is ready to start a new chapter filled with love and care. Luna Rose is looking for a family who will appreciate her strength and kindness, offering her the warmth and safety she’s longed for. If you're seeking a sweet and resilient dog to welcome into your home, Luna Rose is waiting to bring joy and companionship into your life. Adopt Luna Rose today and be part of her journey to a brighter future.
